Wiki 30 Activity 6: Contemporary trends in New Zealand or internationally

Developing a variety of methods for strengthening the attitude is my focus (Daggett, B,. 2014). Attitude, your mindset plays a big part of how you perform.  This is perhaps an area we our school has focused on but is still developing. Te Aho Matua the guiding principal in our school identifies that the attitude of a person can have an impact . If the environment for the attitude building is right the learning becomes more authentic.

These skills help in general with whomever, the main premise of this is a reflective look at the individual and how to departmentalization and manage an aspect of your learning, but also enhancing your attitude your mindset. 
Manaaki tiaki tangata, looking after your fellow man, is a main principal of tikanga Maori. This principal encourages an environment where you are welcomed, and you feel part of something great. If we talk about social media being todays trend, we also recognize its affect on society, and where we as educators must up-skill, and have the mindset to adapt to every single change.
